HOW TO USE v1.01 ISO:

FAILURE TO DO THIS PROPERLY WILL RESULT IN BLACK SCREEN—

Yes, the iso is updated to v1.01 but the PSP needs the update files present on the console.
That’s just how the PSP works.

You have to extract the update files to the proper location.

On real PSP is: \PSP\GAME\
On PPSSPP is.. inside PSP installation directory then: \memstick\PSP\GAME\

You must not rename the update folder (NPJH50721) that’s how the games find it.

Final destination should look like: \PSP\GAME\NPJH50721\*EDAT and PBP files in here*

PS: If you are also getting the DLC merge both NPJH50721 folders (Update+DLC)
they both go to the same location and share the same name.
