A Ore no Dungeon is an RPG where the focus is on dungeons. You play as a sixteen-year-old adventurer who has a parasitic beast — actually a dungeon spirit — attached to him. The beast gives him special powers, but he really wants to be rid of it, and heads out on dungeon quest in order to find a cure. Dungeons exploration involves working your way through a 3D dungeon, taking on beasts using a realtime battle system. In the dungeons, you’ll come into contact with monsters and traps, which can be collected through your special powers and used to make your very own dungeon. Creating a dungeon is one of the main points of Ore no Dungeon. Once you’ve obtained the Dungeon Plate and created a dungeon, you can rent it out (rent here meaning that the dungeon disappears after a while even if it is saved) to a friend via WiFi.
